Communication is something Local Councils could help local voluntary groups with. The trouble with that is, we might find we are not so divided after all?

I wonder if professionals would recommend the press or social media as a way of communicating with your team?

This practical and effective one-day course is aimed at those who are managing dysfunctional, non-performing teams. If you are dealing with a difficult team whose productivity is suffering as a result of team member behaviour, then this course is an ideal way in which to learn how to turn things around:-

Just in - Removal of Mature Promenade Hedges - Over the Weekend?

Attending  Ramsgate Neighbourhood Planning Workshops last year, it was uppermost in enough minds that diversity was a priority. Attendees also wanted what was left of our "sacred" or "nurturing" spaces maintained or enhanced, so I volunteered as a committee member because of experience and some expertise I felt I could offer. The steering group were asked for the list of many workshop comments, but a summary or "report" was issued instead, which in all fairness, looked a bit bias? The committee have not met for nearly a year now, arguments erupted about the over bearing influence of Councillors (one in particular) in our (peoples') process. It was also unhelpful some steering group members going to the local press about their interpretation of what was possibly meant by a "Gay Village"? taken, as it was, out of context.

But we are where we are, but now we appear to have a situation whereby the opposite seems to be happening from what people said they thought they wanted? I.E. Established flora and fauna is being removed? Maybe it's to give the owners of seafront properties an unimpeded sea view perhaps?
But maybe all is not lost?  The appointed Secretary of the original committee is still around and he has everyone's contact details. The last thing we discussed was the urgent matter of  electing a Chairperson?  A difficult task perhaps, given we have relied for so long on Councillors to organise everything for us?
